Kelly Depp is an Author living in North Scottsdale. Her first novel, Finding Home, went into print back in May of this year and her second one is almost finished as she is looking for a publisher.
Ms. Depp has been writing since she was in seventh grade but only in the past year realized her talent lay in the novel. The death of a friend inspired her to start the book that became ‘Finding Home’ and she hasn’t stopped writing since. Her son and her boyfriend are her main cheerleaders, “Without the love and support of them all, I could never have accomplished completing the book let alone getting through the publication process”.
Ms. Depp is the youngest of two girls and grew up in a small town in southern Georgia. Prior to writing, Ms. Depp worked in Corporate America as an office manager and executive assistant for the past 20 years. Being very involved in her son’s schools, she has volunteered many hours to charitable organizations and has time and again found resources, volunteers and donations that others simply could not attain.
